'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' Film Review

My sister would bring this film up again and again and when I finally was able to see it I was a huge fan. Michel Gondry created a world within itself for this film. This was my first Kate Winslet film and I can honestly say I am intrigued by her character. Not that many actors could do such a wonderful job across from the other lead actor, Jim Carrey. Their chemistry emanated across the screen. The dialogue when they met was strange. It was nice to see something different.

'American Hustle' Film Review

American Hustle Directed by David O Russell is set in the seventies. Amy Adams is perfect for the role as she is a great role player. Christian Bale committed greatly to the role by gaining a large amount of weight and having a comb-over.

"A con man, Irving Rosenfeld, along with his seductive British partner, Sydney Prosser, is forced to work for a wild FBI agent, Richie DiMaso. DiMaso pushes them into a world of Jersey powerbrokers and mafia."

'The Spectacular Now' Film Review

'The Spectacular Now' directed by James Ponsoldt is about a 'hard-partying high school senior who's philosophy on life changes when he meets the not-so-typical "nice girl".'

Shailene Woodley did not disappoint. The choice to not do her makeup was nice because it strayed away from the typical attractive lead role and focused more on Woodley's acting talent and her character's personality.

The film was successful in the fact that notable actors were cast, yet managed to not slip into the stereotypical acting that could be associated with this plot.
